Pumpkin Garden Stake

This weeks OEA theme is pumpkins! Our craft was super easy. Awhile back Connor made this frog for our garden and i said in the post that i didn't know how it would hold up once the rain and everything hit. Well, like i thought, the paint didn't stay on. So this time, i bought outdoor paint. Its water resistant and more!

It was only a few dollars with a 40% off coupon.

So i laid out the pumpkin ‘wand’ from the Joann’s dollar spot, opened the paint, set it out and let him go at it. I was hoping he would choose fall colors but because its open ended, i didn't say a word. But he did choose fall colors! Not on purpose im sure.

Here he is sitting next to it in our garden of weeds.

Im excited to actually see it keep its paint this time. Hopefully.

  8. Great tip on the ourdoor paint! I'm sure most of us would have tried your project and done the same thing you did the first time.

The stake came out great; he looks so happy in that final photo!
